The Galician gaming group EGASA will build a dedicated new office for Luckia Gaming.

Spain.- Grupo EGASA has announced that it will invest €15m in new offices to act as a digital hub for its Luckia Gaming Group subsidiary. The four-floor building will be located in the group’s native city of A Coruña in Galicia, in northwest Spain.

The offices will feature an auditorium for 180 people, a gym, dining area, training rooms and physiotherapy spaces. It forms part of an initiative to give employees more flexibility and comfort in their work. Construction is expected to last about 26 months.

Grupo EGASA was founded in 1972 and is one of Galicia’s largest employers with 2,500 staff. It has interests in leisure, hospitality and property. Luckia Gaming is involved in both online and land-based gaming. It runs land-based casinos in Spain in Vigo, in its native Galicia, and in Bilbao, San Sebastián, Mallorca and Ceuta.

Luckia runs gaming machines in bars and restaurants and gaming arcades as well as online gaming and land-based sports betting. As well as Spain, it also has a presence in Portugal and Croatia in Europe and in Chile, Colombia and Peru in Latin America.

Enrique Nieto, director of Luckia’s real estate division, told local news outlets: “We’re an A Coruña business established in the city since our inception and we want our headquarters to continue to be in our home community of Galicia.”
