“G2E was the right jumping board to give us a good kick off”
(Exclusive interview).- The most successful ETG brand talked with Focus Gaming News about the industry’s development.
Alfastreet thinks outside of G2E’s box to measure its impact on the gaming industry. As one of the biggest international companies, Alfastreet is set to expand the show’s results into future projects to keep boosting the casino industry at the highest levels. Although plans cannot be revealed yet, Albert Radman, Sales Director at Alfastreet shared the company’s vision of the show and the further bets.
You’ve recently said that exhibitions are an integral part of the progress and a chance to measure oneself with all the competition. How important was G2E for Alfastreet?
Actually, in case of exhibitions, measurements can sometimes be deceiving. I know several companies that over expose their presence at such exhibition, just so they create an appearance of a different kind of a company, the kind of company that is extra successful and stands out that way. In reality, these companies, and I am very familiar with couple of them, are getting rather desperate for business, and are putting it ‘all in’, hoping they won’t have to show the cards.
With Alfastreet, G2E is important to showcase our latest products, to reach out to our customers, and to make sure we are noticed among the visitors of the show. We’re proving ourselves with the quality and reliability, despite the fact we’re not self-declaring our products to be the best of the best. Our company is doing what we do, for 25 years almost and our reward is our global presence and numerous gaming venues that dedicate themselves to use only one electronic table game brand: Alfastreet.
What do you think were the highlights of G2E and what impact did they have on your company?
I have no idea what the highlights of the show would be as our work at the stand consumed 110 percent of our time. Come to think about it, I don’t even remember who our first door neighbors were. Regardless, every G2E show is packed with new products and all kind of novelties. These are the attractions of the show and conversation topics for the sellers. Yet, we all know, (or we pretend not to) that the sales are being made with traditional type of equipment, such as a ‘normal’ upright slot cabinet, or in our case, with our always popular and ‘prehistoric’ game of the roulette. Despite all this, shows are there for the show, and Alfastreet also always tries to bring something new to show the progress and a peek into the future.
Our company is doing what we do, for 25 years almost and our reward is our global presence and numerous gaming venues that dedicate themselves to use only one electronic table game brand: Alfastreet.
What is the next big step for Alfastreet?
We are working on few bigger projects that are going to see the light of the sun in the next year. Unfortunately, we can’t disclose too much information, just so we can have our head start among our ‘fan’ companies that prefer to follow us.
Did G2E help you reach any goals?
We’re happy with G2E and we’re looking in the future with our good share of optimism and excitement. Globally speaking Alfastreet is the most successful ETG brand name and our plan is to remain that way for the long time ahead. We are expanding in some new territories in the next year and G2E was just the right jumping board to give us a good kick off.
