Crown adds new directors
Crown Resorts has added two new members to its company’s board, as non-executive directors.
Macau.- After a year of restructuring, representatives of Crown Resorts have announced several changes to the company’s board. Since the announcement, Jane Halton and Toni Korsanos have began their new jobs as non-executive directors of Crown Resorts board.
“We are delighted that both Jane and Toni have agreed to join the Crown board. The addition of Jane and Toni will enhance the expertise and diversity of the Crown Board. Jane will bring extensive experience in finance, risk management, information technology, human resources and public policy. Toni has extensive experience in the gaming industry and will also bring experience in the areas of technology, finance, strategy, risk management and financial and regulatory compliance,” commented Crown’s executive chairman, Mr John Alexander.
According to the official statement by Crown, Jane Halton is a former Secretary of the Australian Department of Finance and is a current Director of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited and Clayton Utz. Meanwhile, Toni Korsanos is the current chief financial officer and company secretary of Aristocrat Leisure Ltd, a global company which she has held senior executive positions for over 10 years. Mrs Korsanos is expected to join the Crown board once she steps down from her role in March 2018 and her existing commitments at Aristocrat cease.
