Casino revenue record for Okada Manila

The Philippine casino reached a record high in November and totalled €48.5 million.

Philippines.- Universal Entertainment has released its latest financial report, which indicates that casino revenues at Okada Manila experienced a record high in November to €48.5 million, and a record-high EIBTDA of approximately €8.8 million.

The numbers represent a 9% increase in casino revenues and a 42% increase in EBITDA when compared to October’s performance. The company said that VIP and mass market sectors drove the positive results during last month’s operations and that it also reported an impressive 97.4% in hotel occupancy in November, slightly down than October.

The casino operator also revealed that it has agreed to place €528.4 million in notes to finance ongoing construction in the facility. The notes are expected to be issued today and have a mature date set for December 2021.
