California’s Club One Casino awaits relocation approval
Fresno City Council will decide this week whether Club One Casino can relocate after its Covid-19 closure.
US.- After Covid-19 related restrictions forced Club One Casino in Fresno to temporarily shut down, the poker room decided it was time to look for a new location. However, it still needs the City Council’s approval, which may materialise this Thursday.
The authorities will consider approval of the proposed relocation of the state-licensed card room to Granite Park. The casino employs 300 people and generates over US$1 million in tax revenue for the city.
The new location offers 33,000 square feet of space and is currently being revamped. A temporary 13,000 square feet space will allow space for 25 card tables, a bar, and a dining area.
Once renovations are complete, the card room will be moved, and the temporary space will be converted into a restaurant and events centre.
