Caesars opens Southern Indiana casino

Caesars Entertainment has officially unveiled its US$90 million property in Southern Indiana.

US.- Caesars Entertainment hosted on Friday the grand opening of the new US$90 million land-based casino, Caesars Southern Indiana. The new casino replaces the 21-year-old riverboat casino that operated as Horseshoe Southern Indiana.

The 110,000-square-foot integrated facility combines dining, retail, entertainment and gaming. Relocating from the existing four-story riverboat location, the land-based casino features new, modern amenities, including laurel Lounge, an exclusive area for Caesars Rewards VIPs.

The on-site sports betting venue called “The Book” is also now open in its permanent location in the casino, allowing guests to bet on a variety of sports, including football, basketball, baseball, hockey, etc.

“With completely new gaming facilities, increased amenities and new restaurant offerings, Caesars Southern Indiana will elevate the experience for our guests,” said Caesars Southern Indiana Senior Vice President and General Manager Brad Seigel. “We look forward to making each visit memorable with the exceptional service, friendly team members, and thrilling gaming and entertainment that our guests have come to love at our home here in Southern Indiana.”

Caesars could open a sportsbook at Audi Field

Caesars is looking to expand its reach in the country, this time by considering the opening of a sportsbook at Audi Field. According to the Washington Post, the talks between Caesars and Audi Field include a sponsorship pact that would lead to Caesars’ logo being featured on the sleeve of DC United’s jersey in 2020. If successful, the casino company would also open a sportsbook at Audi Field in the spring.

Andy Bush, United’s chief business officer, said: “We are absolutely excited about the opportunity to partner with Caesars. It would be an incredible opportunity to engage with our fans.”
