BCLC’s interim President and CEO resigns
Greg Moore will step down from the role due to a new opportunity in the private sector.
Canada.- Greg Moore, the interim president and chief executive of the British Colombia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), has announced his resignation from the post effective from January 15.
Moore took up the temporary role in September last year after Jim Lightbody took medical leave to undergo treatment for cancer.
He has handed in his resignation to take up a role in the private sector. Lightbody is not yet ready to return meaning that the BCLC’s board of directors will have to search for a new interim president and CEO.
BCLC board chair, Peter Kappel, said in a statement: “On behalf of the board of directors, I would like to thank Greg for the incredible contribution he has made to help redefine BCLC’s approach to business and corporate culture.”
