As Covid-19 cases continue to climb, the state government has extended the lockdown on Goa casinos until May 24.

India.- Goa authorities have decided to extend Covid-19 countermeasures until May 24, including the closure of Goa’s casinos.

Only essential services are allowed to continue operating. Goa’s casinos along with gyms, colleges, schools and bars will remain closed.

Under the new rules, gatherings are restricted to a maximum of 5 people and those who want to enter Goa must show a negative Covid-19 certificate.

Delta Corp has recently announced it has also temporarily suspended operations in the state of Sikkim due to a rise in Covid-19 cases.
