Crown Perth to reopen this weekend
The casino has confirmed it will reopen as Western Australia lifts restrictions.
Australia.- Crown Perth Casino is preparing to reopen this weekend after Western Australia lifted Covid-19 restrictions on casinos and gaming halls.
Crown Resorts has confirmed that Crown Perth will reopen its gaming floor on Saturday (June 27).
Capacity limits will be imposed with one person per two square metres (including staff), physical distancing between customers at electronic gaming machines and electronic table games and restrictions on the number of players at table games.
Ken Barton, Crown’s Chief Executive Officer, said in a press release: “Crown’s priority is to the health and safety of our employees, customers and the community. The physical distancing and hygiene measures have been developed in consultation with the Government, Commissioner of Police and Chief Health Officer to allow reopening in a safe manner. We look forward to welcoming back many of our employees and customers to Crown Perth.”
