ACMA blocks two more gambling websites
The Australian authority warned customers to withdraw funds from Dinkum Pokies and Fortune Clock Casino.
Australia.- The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has ordered Australian internet service providers (ISPs) to block two offshore gambling websites.
ACMA warned customers to withdraw funds from Dinkum Pokies and Fortune Clock Casino immediately.
It said: “Following numerous complaints about these services, including complaints about withholding winnings and poor player treatment, the ACMA undertook investigations which found them to be operating in breach of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001.”
ACMA has blocked 150 gambling websites since November 2019. It says over 100 illegal services have pulled out of the Australian market since it began its policy in 2017.
