A club in Pennsylvania accused of illegal gambling activities
The Thaddeus Kosciuszko Polish American Citizens Club is currently under investigation.
US.- The Pennsylvania State Police liquor control enforcement cited the Thaddeus Kosciuszko Polish American Citizens Club on Jan. 8 after agents discovered illegal gambling and lottery activities were carried out in the social facility.
According to the authorities, twice last year from Feb. 12 to Aug. 17 and then from Aug. 23 through Oct. 6, the club was in possession or operated gambling devices and paraphernalia and it also allowed gambling, lotteries, poolselling and bookmaking.
The penalty for these charges ranges from US$50 to US$5,000. In addition, the club’s license may be suspended or revoked.
