Paddy Power Betfair appoints new Advertising Director

The merger between Paddy Power and Betfair was completed in January 2016.

Ken Robertson has been promoted to the role of Advertising Director for Paddy Power Betfair.

UK.- Ken Robertson was promoted to the top Advertising job to fulfil the position of Advertising Director for Paddy Power Betfair.

He has been working for Paddy Power for 16 years in a number or different marketing positions both for the Irish and Australian branches of Paddy Power with Sportsbet.

The merger between Paddy Power and Betfair resulted, among other things, in a restructure of the merged business’ marketing division. After the merger became official in January, the company announced that it is to cut around 650 jobs from its 7,000 work force with most jobs going from the combined areas of HR, legal, finance and marketing divisions.

As Advertising Director, Robertson will be responsible for all advertising initiatives in connection to the European business. He will be in charge of delivering advertising initiatives including the creative/brand planning and campaign delivery.
