Delta Downs completes expansion
The Louisiana casino finished a millionaire upgrade.
US.- Boyd Gaming announced that they finished a US$45 million expansion at Delta Dows Racetrack Casino Hotel. The venue’s hotel tower went through a complete makeover, and according to Boyd, this is part of a project to improve the quality of its facilities.
Keith Smith, President and Chief Executive Officer of Boyd Gaming, said: “Throughout Boyd Gaming’s 16 years of ownership, Delta Downs has consistently been one of our most successful and popular properties. This ambitious expansion is a reinvestment in our customers and this community, one that will elevate and enhance the Delta Downs experience while allowing us to host more customers than ever before.”
Delta Downs will now feature another hotel tower with more than 160 rooms available. This is a big expansion from the original 200-room hotel tower, which also underwent an upgrade. The company operates 24 facilities in Louisiana, Kansas, Indiana, Iowa, Mississippi, Illinois and Nevada.
