Ohio casinos and racinos report their best record on record $194.3m revenue in August
Commercial gaming revenue in Ohio reached $194.3m in August.
United States.- The four casinos and seven racinos in Ohio pulled in $194.34m in August. That’s the lowest revenue figure since February but also the best August on record.
In August 2020 the state pulled in $172m. The figures for August 2021 represented a 13 per cent increase.
The state’s four casinos, in Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus and Toledo, posted $82.5m in revenue. Jack Cleveland surpassed Hollywood Columbus to lead the pack with $21.9m, closely followed by Hollywood Columbus with $21.1m.
Ohio’s seven racinos posted revenue of $111.9m. MGM’s Northfield Park again led the way with a net win of $23.3m. Eldorado’s Scioto Downs was second with $19.7m.
