New casino opened in Tulsa
The facility that opened this week in Oklahoma is set to generate US$32 million in local revenue.
US.- Osage Casino and Hotel celebrated late last week its grand opening in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tribal leaders behind the facility believe that the casino is set to generate US$32 million in local revenue.
Byron Bighorse, CEO of Osage Casinos, said that the new facility was 15 years in the making, and therefore it is ready to compete with other local casinos. “It’s very exciting for us. “It was a 141 room hotel, a convention space, a meeting space,” said Bighorse. “We have a pool area, a parking garage, and a brewery.” The facility also features an event centre, over 1800 games as well as restaurants and bars.
“Off this $160 million project, we anticipate adding $32 million in salaries and wages just to this community,” said Bighorse. “So, we’re very excited over 200 jobs we’ve created by doing this project.”
