Nevada board wants to ban Steve Wynn

The Nevada Gaming Control Board is pushing a ban on Steve Wynn and filed a complaint on Monday to proceed with it as soon as possible.

US.- Steve Wynn’s sexual harassment case has caused the casino mogul to fall in disgrace. However, not only has his reputation has gone down the drain, but he’s now facing further complications.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) wants to ban Wynn and filed a complaint to do so. They consider him “unsuitable to be associated with a gaming enterprise or the gaming industry as a whole.”

The board wants the regulator in Nevada to revoke Wynn’s gambling licence and fine him. The sudden demands come after he failed to appear at an investigatory hearing.

“The evidence from the investigation demonstrates a pattern of Mr Wynn recklessly engaging in sexual conduct with subordinate employees, which even if it was consensual as maintained by Mr Wynn, is oblivious to the significant power imbalance between the CEO of a major gaming company and subordinate employees dependent on Mr Wynn’s approval for continued employment,” the complaint said.

Wynn, chairman and chief executive of Wynn Resorts, decided to resign from his position in his company after the scandal involving sexual allegations against him. Wynn Resorts operates casinos worldwide and is positioned as one of the leading companies of the international industry.
