MGM Resorts revamps rewards programme
MGM Resorts is set to launch its revamped loyalty rewards program on February 1.
US.- MGM Rewards is the revamped loyalty rewards program that MGM Resorts is set to launch on February 1. The “reimagined” program offers new ways to earn for both gaming and non-gaming spend, plus enhanced guest experiences.
The loyalty rewards program is set to unlock “unprecedented access” for both gaming and non-gaming guests to the company’s 20+ destinations across the US.
The program will be rebranded from M Life Rewards to MGM Rewards, and extended to let customers earn MGM Rewards Points when they play, stay or dine at its properties
There will still be additional incentives for gamers, with slot players able to earn Slot Dollars, previously known as PointPlay, when they gamble at MGM’s casinos.
The five member tier levels – Sapphire, Pearl, Gold, Platinum and Noir – will remain in place. Members that reach the Pearl tier will be eligible for complimentary tickets to MGM Rewards concerts and not have Rewards Points or Slot Dollars expire due to account inactivity.
MGM Rewards now offers members new and exclusive marquee benefits, the company says. These include waived resort fees (Gold+), Tier Achievement Travel Credit to Las Vegas (Platinum+), complimentary tickets to MGM Rewards concerts (Pearl+) and advanced suite upgrades for up to three nights (Platinum+).
Moreover, the program offers access to exclusive tier appreciation events and experiences (Gold+) and 4 pm late check-out, based on availability (Platinum+). And as an added benefit, MGM Rewards Points and Slot Dollars will not expire for Pearl+ members due to account inactivity.
Anil Mansukhani, MGM Resorts’ Vice President of Loyalty Marketing, said: “As every guest experiences our properties in unique ways, MGM Rewards is designed to recognise and reward every member with experiences uniquely suited to their preferences, whether that’s attending an incredible concert, enjoying a world-class meal or staying in a luxury suite.”
The launch is being accompanied by a new, enhanced MGM Rewards app which “simplifies the digital experience” by allowing members to easily review their tier status and benefits, and visualise how they can advance to the next tier. Play and spend are recognised as a single account.
MGM Resorts is also launching smarter integration between its rewards program and the company’s iGaming product BetMGM, unlocking “even more rewards” for MGM Rewards members. Play with BetMGM earns members digital rewards for more BetMGM online play, tier credits towards new rewards tiers, and access to tailored offers and real-world experiences.
In bringing members more rewards, MGM has partnered with brands including Hyatt Hotels, Southwest Airlines and Avis Rental Cars, among others.
“Additional partnerships with premier brands will be unveiled in the coming months,” the company added.
