Casinos from the American state extended the revenue winning streak in October.

US.- The Maryland Lottery and Gaming released the numbers that show that the state’s five casinos increased their revenue of US$95 million in the last month, almost a 1 percent more than the same period in 2015. October is the eleventh straight month that the state increases the year-on-year monthly tally.

On the other hand, Horseshoe Casino Baltimore recorded earnings of US$26 million, 7.9 percent more year-on-year. Ocean Downs brought in US$4.9 million, a six percent more than the same period in 2015, and Hollywood Casino Perryville contributed US$6 million.

In September revenue was up 11 percent from the same month in 2015, which marked the strongest gains since April, despite revenues went down from the US$100.3 million reported in August. Horseshoe Baltimore’s general manager said that they were very pleased with their performance.

MGM Resort’s National Harbor is set to open on December 8. The US$1.4 billion casino will be a boutique-style hotel and casino, with more than 300 rooms and an integrated theatre, a conference centre, art, myriad dining options at different prices.
