DFS could show a united front

International media issued the rumors of a revolutionary merger between DraftKings and FanDuel.

US.- Although the information is not confirmed yet, the gaming industry could be facing a big change as the operations of daily fantasy sports. The two major operators of the controversial game, FanDuel and DraftKings, could be negotiating a merger.

Daily fantasy sports are highly demanded by international players, but the sector has been fighting legal battles especially in the United States. The business, nevertheless, is very profitable in places where they could be offered legally.

DraftKings and FanDuel operate similar services, whilst their legal issues are costing thousands of dollars. With a unique venture, both companies could reduce the expenses as the money destined to compete against each other would be cut off. Furthermore, the one and only operator would face the legal challenges on its own.
