Combined revenue reaches all-time high in Pennsylvania
The state regulator released the 2017-2018 state fiscal year results, which show impressive numbers.
US.- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) reported on Tuesday its 2017-2018 fiscal year results, which indicate that the combined revenue from slot machines and table games was the highest total to date.
The total revenue registered during this period was US$3,24 billion, which was higher than the previous high state fiscal year total of 2015/2016, and represents a 1.4 per cent rise from the total revenue achieved last state fiscal year.
The total increase was driven by the increases in both slot machines and table games revenue during the completed 2017/2018 state fiscal year compared to the previous fiscal year, 0.7 per cent and 3.3 per cent respectively.
Table games revenue was also up nine of the twelve months during the fiscal year, with total revenue in 2017/2018 of US$895 million compared to US$866 million during the 2016/2017 state fiscal year. Moreover, tax revenue produced through table games play was up four per cent from US$138 million in fiscal year 2016/2017 to US$144 million in fiscal year 2017/2018. Estimated combined tax revenue from slot machines and table games for the 2017/2018 fiscal year was US$1,33 billion.
