The company has filed for five trademark registrations in Macau, including video slot machines.

Macau.- Las Vegas based Bally Gaming Inc, subsidiary of Scientific Games, has reportedly filed for five trademark registrations in Macau. Video slots machines are among the services that Bally wants commercial protection.

The company that completed the merger with Scientifics Games in November 2014 for US$5.1 billion is seeking commercial protection for services like computer software and firmware for gaming on any computerised platform. The latter includes video slot machines, reel slot machines, dedicated gaming consoles and video lottery terminals.

The services are under five brand names: Girl’s Best Friend, Bright lights, Silk Moon, Top up, and 节节高. Earlier this week, the parent company announced an agreement with a Google-owned company in order to boost API performance. The agreement signed with Apigee will expand the company’s portfolio of casino management technology solutions for the gaming industry as it will use the fill lifecycle application programming interface manage platform in it.
