Flights between Macau and South Korea cancelled until March
Level 2 Travel Alert recommends that Macau residents reconsider their current travel plans to South Korea.
Macau.- All flights between South Korea and China have been grounded and cancelled the Coronavirus crisis in South Korea worsened.
The Tourism Crisis Management Office (GGCT) issued a Level 2 Travel Alert for South Korea and all flight services between Macau and South Korea have been cancelled until 1 March.
The Level 2 Travel Alert recommends that Macau residents avoid non-essential travel and reconsider their current travel plans to South Korea.
Macau travel agencies have also cancelled all tours to South Korea until 15 March, according to Inside Asian Gaming.
Hong Kong has prohibited the entry of tourists arriving from South Korea – those that have already arrived from South Korea can travel to Macau through the Hong Kong International Airport.
South Korea has recorded around 1,000 cases of the virus and is now consider as “high risk area”.
