Macau demands quarantine to visitors from Xinjiang
All visitors who have been in Kizilsu Kirgiz, China, in the 14 days prior to arrival will have to undergo quarantine.
Macau.- All visitors that have been to areas in the Autonomous Prefecture of Kizilsu Kirgiz, Xinjiang, in the 14 days prior to entering Macau will have to undergo a 14-day quarantine in designated places, health authorities have declared.
According to the Macau News Agency, the decision comes after 15 Covid-19 cases were detected in the cantons of Karekaiqike and Pilal, in the Akto District of the Autonomous Prefecture of Kazilsu Kirgiz, adjacent to the Shufu District of the Kashgar Prefecture.
All individuals who have been in the area and have already entered Macau will receive a call today to monitor their health and receive nucleic acid tests.
People who have been in the Kazilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture but have not travelled to the aforementioned districts or cantons must carry out health self-management.
