Jumbo gets gambling software licence in the UK
The Australian firm is now allowed to offer its services and products directly to gambling firms operating in the UK.
Australia.- The Australian gambling software services provider, Jumbo Interactive, has secured an operating licence in the UK through the British Gambling Commission.
Jumbo is now allowed to offer its services and products directly to gambling firms operating in the UK rather than through a local subsidiary. According to a company, it will provide gambling and lottery services to consumers in Great Britain.
It comes after the company said it was looking into opportunities for international business.
The new software operating licence is in addition to the external lottery manager operating licences (remote and non-remote) already held through Jumbo’s wholly owned UK subsidiary, Gatherwell.
Jumbo CEO and executive director Mike Veverka said: “This is an important step in Jumbo expanding its footprint in the UK following the great work carried out by the Gatherwell team to date.”
