Crown Melbourne eases Covid-19 restrictions

The casino will be able to operate under new rules following a relaxation of Covid-19 countermeasures by the Victorian government.

Australia.- Crown Melbourne casino has returned to a 50 per cent capacity limit following a period with a tighter capacity of just 300 customers on the casino floor.

The casino will now allow no more than one person per four square metres.

The mandatory wearing of face masks in most public spaces has also been rolled back in Victoria under the government’s latest announcement.

Physical distancing and hygiene protocols at Crown Melbourne will remain in place.

Last week the state government of Victoria announced it would launch a royal commission to decide if Crown Resorts is suitable to maintain its licence for its Melbourne casino.
