Two French companies to enter shared online poker liquidity
French-licensees B.E.S. SAS and Pari-Mutuel Urbain have been cleared by ARJEL to join the shared online poker liquidity pool.
France.- The shared online poker liquidity deal continues to expand as new companies join the cross-border pool. The latest to do so are French-licensed B.E.S. SAS and Pari-Mutuel Urbain (PMU), which have been cleared by the local regulator (ARJEL) to do so.
The companies are set to join others such as PokerStars (the first one to enter), Kindred Group and Betclic Everest Group, which were approved by ARJEL last month. Winamax (the top online poker company in France) has also been allowed to enter the pool, but still needs a Spanish licence to do so.
The shared online poker liquidity deal began back in December with PokerStars becoming the first company available to mix both French and Spanish Players. In Portugal, regulations to enter the pool were approved in February, while it is still unclear when Italy will pass its own. It was expected to happen sometime in March (after the presidential elections) but its status hasn’t been updated yet.
