St. Louis casinos reported good results

Optimistic results were released by St. Louis’ casino operators regarding September’s activities.

US.- Operators of St. Louis gaming salons released last month’s results, showing an increase on overall activities. However, the local Casino Queen report presented a slight decline in its revenue due to the armed assault that workers suffered on September 17. In general, casino operators have grown significantly during the period.

The official report shows that the Lumière Place casino in downtown St. Louis was the fastest growing salon reaching US$11.8 million revenue, which represents 10 percent of increase compared to September 2016. Meanwhile, River City followed with results that rose 4.4 percent to US$18.7 million. The third position has been taken by Hollywood casino, which rose 2.8 percent to nearly US$20 million.

Finally, the last two positions were occupied by Alton Argosy, growing 2.8 percent to US$4.3 million. And by Ameristar St. Charles gaming salon, which reported a growth of 1.2 percent to US$22.0 million. The Casino Queen, meanwhile, has lost nearly 10 percent last month to US$7.8 million, compared to September 2016.
