Sports bar chain wants to offer sports betting
The Buffalo Wild Wings chain is reportedly exploring its options to offer sports betting in the US.
US.- Popular sports bar chain Buffalo Wild Wings has revealed its intentions to offer sports betting services at its facilities. The company operates in all 50 states and internationally, and said that it is interested in offering expanded sports betting in the United States.
“As the largest sports bar in America, we believe Buffalo Wild Wings is uniquely positioned to leverage sports gaming to enhance the restaurant experience for our guests,” a Buffalo Wild Wings spokesperson said in a statement to ESPN. “We are actively exploring opportunities, including potential partners, as we evaluate the next steps for our brand.”
While each state has a different regulatory scheme in place or currently discussing sports betting, the company would likely need to partner with a gaming operator to be able to engage in the sports betting business.
