SiGMA establishes Malta Gaming Week partnerships
The organisers behind SiGMA have pulled off an impressive number of strategic partnerships, which are all set to culminate mid November in a much anticipated Malta Gaming Week.
Malta.- The ultimate goal is bringing the entire gaming community together, from affiliates and operators to regulators and vendors. Following plenty of great feedback, this year’s summit will see some great upgrades, including the fact that they will be flying a whopping 300 affiliates down for free. The summit will start on November 16 and will come to an end three days later on November 19.
In the words of founder Eman Pulis, “We needed a strong campaign to generate more interest among affiliates. So we took some inspiration from the movie 300 and, in an unprecedented move, are giving away the equivalent in flights for affiliates from all over Europe and Tel Aviv. Exhibiting operators were encouraged to invite VIP guests, flights on us, and throw a string of hospitality events around SiGMA. After all, Malta lends itself quite well for wining, dining and late night shenanigans.”
During the summit, there will be four conferences by SiGMA, but also a number of partnership events, which are set to attract an unprecedented number of quality c level executives to Malta.
SiGMA has cemented new conference partnerships with the likes of KPMG, who is adding a third esummit in Malta on top of their Gibraltar and Isle of Man esummits. Other partnerships have been cemented with the BiG Foundation, iGaming Academy and the MGA as well as Random Consulting’s Mario Galea and Aideen Shortt. The latter two will be co-organising an igaming booth camp for top executives.
Many wished for the SiGMA dates to be further away from BAC and EiG so the organisers agreed to shift the show a month away from Berlin, creating a dynamite Malta Gaming Week.
Co-organiser Dennis Dyhr-Hansen said: “We added a lot of networking events, dinners, drinks too. Andy Jones, who only until last year was a partner with another event, will be setting up one of the largest booths at SiGMA this year. We are also working closely with him to throw an unforgettable Aliquantum Welcome Party at Casino Malta.”
Joseph Cuschieri, Executive Chairman at Malta Gaming Authority also spoke of the past summits: “SiGMA is an excellent networking and knowledge sharing opportunity for local gaming operators, service providers and other industry players seeking to operate in or from Malta. I believe that events like SiGMA can showcase Malta’s unique attributes and strengthen our position as a world class gaming jurisdiction.”
