Chris Ferrara has donated land once intended for a casino to a non-profit organisation.
US.- Mississippi businessman Chris Ferrara has donated land once intended for a casino to a local non-profit organisation.
Years ago, Ferrara had the intention of developing a casino in east Biloxi but the project never started.
According to the Sun Herald, the businessman has decided to donate the 30-acre property, valued at $28m, to the Boys and Girls Club of the Gulf Coast.
Ferrara explained that the reason for giving the property to the club is that he used to go there in his younger years and saw the organisation making a difference in the lives of young people.
The Sun Herald could not confirm what the club intends to do with the land.
