New Jersey casino to offer DFS

The Resorts Casino Hotel in New Jersey introduced Fast Pick, a DFS game, and has become the first venue to do so in Atlantic City.

US.- Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) is a daily topic in the American gambling industry as its legalisation is being debated in several states and has only been passed in a few. New Jersey is one of those and will now see the Resorts Casino Hotel to become the first gaming room in Atlantic City to offer DFS games to its customers.

Fast Pick is the latest introduction by the casino, as reported by The Associated Press and is the first game of its type to be included in this region’s venues. It allows patrons to choose head-to-head player matchups of real world athletes and play against the house, having to win each of the matchups to beat the casino.

The game will first be offered online, Resorts President Mark Giannantonio told The Associated Press. However, it will later be offered inside the casino as well, hopefully in time for football season (September).

The move, according to fantasy sports players and analysts, is a good way to attract new customers who otherwise wouldn’t visit a gambling hall.
