In dialogue with Focus Gaming News, Nevena Aleksieva, Head of Sales at GameArt, talked about the company’s expectations ahead of ICE London 2022, and GameArt projections for the year.

Exclusive interview.- After it was rescheduled due to Covid-19 restrictions, ICE London is finally closer to reopening its doors to the gaming industry. Focus Gaming News spoke with Nevena Aleksieva, Head of Sales at GameArt, who talked about the importance of this new edition, the products that the company will be introducing and their expectations ahead of the event starting April 12

What are your expectations for the next edition of ICE London?

We are ever so excited about this year’s edition of ICE London where, along the lines of ICE’s theme, being together and meeting our worldwide clients in person again will really feel very good. The organisers seem to be putting in all their efforts to organise a memorable show for visitors and exhibitors alike. We have huge expectations as ICE London is one of the most important gaming shows in the industry. It also provides lots of fun and networking opportunities.

What does it mean to participate in ICE after two years?

Meeting our business partners and friends in person means a lot to us. Over the past two years, our company went through many positive changes. GameArt has developed numerous new products and services that we can’t wait to show to all those who will visit our booth at ICE!

What solutions will you exhibit at the expo?

GameArt will display its expanding games portfolio, which features our many branded games including Maradona HyperWaysTM and Lilly Palmer London. Our Lilly Palmer game is a tribute to the electronic dance music artist and includes some cool highlights including a JUKEBOX music selection feature that players can use to switch between four of Lilly’s popular tracks: Vertigo, Aether, Master, and Excess. The game is set in London. In fact, you can see the famous London bridge as a backdrop for the game. This tallies very well with the fact that ICE is held in London and it also fits superbly with the party theme at our booth this year. We will also present Tronius gaming machines, powered by GameArt, including the novelties ARGO and electronic Roulette.

How do you evaluate your performance in 2021?

The year 2021 was an extremely busy and successful one for GameArt. The team developed a record number of games and numerous innovations, such as new cascading reel slots and multi-way slots. We can’t reveal the success that we’ve had with our two branded Maradona games last year. So much so that we’ve got yet another slot dedicated to him that’s due to be released this year.

GameArt’s game portfolio now boasts over 100 titles, with at least two games being developed per month.

What are your projections for this year and what do you think your pivots will be?

GameArt will be developing even more innovative games adapted to the market needs and preferences, not to mention the many promotions that we have lined up for the entire year. Some extremely exciting news we have for you is that we will be introducing an innovative solution allowing the players to be able to switch between the land-based and online versions of the same game within one game session.

We are also immensely proud to announce that we have signed an agreement with a strategic partner to enter the US market, which means that by the end of this year, Game Art’s best games will be available to US players.

Another aim is to expand in more Latin American markets. We have just opened offices in Peru and Colombia to provide the best services to our existing as well as new potential customers. Soon our games will be available in more LatAm countries including Chile, Paraguay, Costa Rica, and Jamaica.
