Germany.- Gambling operator mybet Holding SE announced the departure of CEO Zeno Osskó and the appointment of Chief Financial Officer Markus Peuler as his replacement. Osskó will officially leave the company on August 31.
Zeno Osskó first joined the company back in 2004 and he occupied a number of senior positions over the last ten years. Before stepping to his last position as mybet’s CEO, he had been in charge of the company’s Business Development and Retail divisions. He also served as Head of Gaming and Chief Operating Officer.
mybet is currently in the process of implementing its new IT platform, which is expected to be completed towards the end of the month or early in August.
Dr. Volker Heeg, mybet Supervisory Board Chairman, said that they have always appreciated Osskó’s work at the company and that even though they accept it, they’re sad to see him go. “But with Markus Peuler as sole Executive Officer and a strong second management level mybet is well prepared for the tasks to come. The Supervisory Board is going to decide about the future structure of the Executive Board functions also depending on the start of the new IT platform,” he added.
Osskó commented that he is glad to have played an important role in the initiation and implementation of “change processes” within the gambling operator, with the new IT platform being the latest such change. The executive said that the new product will certainly bring mybet’s product offering to a new level.
