Intralot is reinforcing its presence in Europe, as recently became Italy’s larger gaming operator and is targeting other countries to achieve the same goal.
Bulgaria.- Intralot and Eurobet agreed on a partnership that will lead the international gaming company to the acquisition of 49 percent of Eurobet. The Bulgarian gaming brand will improve its services of numerical games and scratch tickets.
“Intralot’s strategic participation in Eurobet highlights our company’s ability to attract international investors and reinforces our position in the local gaming market. We are confident that Intralot’s global experience in our sector will further increase the value that we deliver both to our shareholders and the Bulgarian players,” commented Millen Stamatov, CEO of Eurobet.
The agreement will be closed next June if the gambling authorities of the European country approve it. The Bulgarian market will be updated with Intralot’s operations in Eurobet network of 1,100 points of sale country-wide. “The complementarily of the product offering between our companies will lead to strengthening our operations in a more consolidated market. This acquisition aligns with our business growth strategy to seal strategic partnerships with strong local players.
