GSA reveals new Board of Directors

Gaming Standards Association elects 2018 Board of Directors.

UK.- The Gaming Standards Association (GSA) has elected a new board of directors, and as the organization celebrates its 20th year, the new board is a perfect reflection of the diversity of its membership and the far-reaching impact of the award-winning standards it has created.

Elected as officers were: Roman Czubak, Novomatic Gaming Industries, GmbH, Chair; Randy Hedrick, Scientific Games, Vice Chair; and Byron Bridger, Atlantic Lottery Corp, remains Treasurer. Re-elected to the Board were Scott Milford, Aristocrat; Adrian Marcu, IGT; Mike Langedock, Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Corp; Chris Hobbs, Microgaming Software Systems; Syed Hussain, Oregon State Lottery; Francesco Rodano, Playtech.

GSA President Peter DeRaedt said, “We are grateful for the visionary and steady leadership of our outgoing Chair, Adrian Marcu, who was a critical force in moving global standards forward. Now we are excited to welcome Roman Czubak and Randy Hedrick as our Chair and Vice Chair. Both Roman and Randy are deeply respected and judicious innovators, and we are pleased to have them lead our diverse Board and Membership.”

While marking 20 years of standards creation, GSA continues to move forward at a rapid pace. The organization announced the formation of its new Blockchain Committee yesterday. Over the past 20 years, more than 1,600 volunteers from more than 190 companies have contributed their expertise to create 15 GSA standards in nine committees.
