Gibraltar is hosting the KPMG eSummit
The 6th edition of the annual KPMG eSummit started yesterday (Thursday) in Gibraltar.
Gibraltar.- The 6th annual KPMG eSummit is featuring more than 30 speakers and panelists who are covering all aspects of eBusiness including mergers and acquisitions, regulation, taxation and emerging technologies.
IMGL master classes with a focus on the changing European legislation, eMoney developments and tech advances are back by popular demand. A host of other hot topics are being covered including Indirect Taxes, Data Analytics and Cyber Security which will be examined by KPMG experts.
The summit presents Dr. Thaer Sabri, Chief Executive of the Electronic Money Association, who will be discussing the symbiosis that exists between eGaming and eMoney and explaining how alternative payment methods can be the safest for players’ funds.
Paul Morris from the Remote Gambling Association will discuss regulatory challenges and offer solutions such as a call for industry unity in response to new issues and obligations that appear almost daily, with a focus on socially responsible and positively focused responses, whilst Professor David Forrest of Liverpool University will be examining problem gambling.
