Connecticut Lottery chooses RSI as sports betting partner

Rush Street Interactive has secured the state’s third sports wagering skin through a 10-year deal with the Connecticut Lottery Corporation.

US.- The Connecticut Lottery Corporation (CLC) has agreed on a 10-year deal with Rush Street Interactive (RSI), gaining the third and final sports betting skin in the state. RSI will be CLC’s provider for retail sports betting as well as mobile and online systems.

Sportech has also partnered with the CLC and will power its offering at off-track betting locations in Connecticut. The CLC can operate up to 15 retail sports betting locations in Connecticut.

Greg Smith, president and CEO of the CLC, said the corporation had chosen from 15 proposals.

He said: “We had quality proposals from well-established gaming companies, and RSI rose to the top through the combination of its experience and commitment to quality products, customer service, and responsible gaming safeguards.”

“We’re excited about this partnership and know our players will be getting an excellent product and customer service.”

RSI president Richard Schwartz said: “Building on our proven track record of success in the tri-state area, where RSI was an early entrant in New Jersey and is the market leader in retail sports betting amongst New York’s commercial casinos, we are thrilled to collaborate with the CLC team to offer Connecticuters safe, convenient, and unique gaming experiences.”
