Colorado to reopen casinos with restrictions
Colorado will allow Black Hawk and Central City to reopen casinos on June 17 with restrictions.
US.- Black Hawk and Central City in Colorado state will reopen casinos on June 17.
The Gilpin County Board of Public Health voted to open the venues after the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment approved a variance from the safer at home guidelines for Gilpin County.
The new variance only allows for machine gaming. The reopening of table gaming will be considered again in three weeks, according to local press.
In order to be able to reopen, casinos must submit an operation plan and must observe the following measures:
-Casinos may only operate at up to 50 per cent capacity and not exceed 175 people in a confined indoor space at any given time, and 250 people in any outdoor setting.
-Casino employees must be monitored daily for symptoms.
-Accommodation must be provided for employees at higher risk of severe illness from Covid-19, who remain encouraged to follow the stay at home guidelines.
-Signage must be displayed on doors telling guests that are experiencing Covid-19-like symptoms not to enter.
