PAGCOR clarifies permission for online bets

Only Solaire Resort & Casino has been cleared to legally take online bets in the Philippines, and its system still has to pass testing.  

The Philippines.- The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has denied having cleared three integrated resorts to legally take online bets from known patrons. 

PAGCOR says that so far, only the application of Bloomberry’s Solaire Resort & Casino has been approved, with requests by Okada Manila and City of Dreams still being studied.

A recent report from Bloomberg said the three resorts had received the green light.  

PAGCOR added that Solaire’s system for taking online bets still needs to undergo testing by the Gaming Licensing and Development Department.
