Grand Korea Leisure extends closure until Feb 15
The casino operator has announced a two-week extension to the shutdown of all its venues in South Korea.
South Korea.- Foreigner-only casinos operated by Grand Korea Leisure in Seoul and Busan will remain closed for at least two more weeks, until February 15.
Venues in Seoul have been closed since November 24 and the Busan casino since December 1 due to Covid-19 countermeasures. They were due to reopen today.
The firm has estimated that its lost revenue will total KRW32.58bn (US$29.2m), up from KRW27.05bn.
Grand Korea Leisure is a subsidiary of the Korea Tourism Organization, which in turn is affiliated to South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
