Armenia iGaming regulation is about to become tighter
Amendments focusing on online gambling advertising seek to improve control mechanisms
Armenia.- The country’s law has been amended to prohibit the advertising of online games with prizes on television and radio and to make licensing process for internet games more difficult. The draft already passed a first reading at the National Assembly.
Deputy Finance Minister Vakhtang Mirumyan said “in particular, it is planned to restrict gambling commercials and to create equal market conditions for all companies doing such business, since it is prohibited now to advertise gambling in casinos.”
