WynnBET launches online sports betting in Louisiana
The online sports betting and casino app has arrived in Louisiana after the state launched legal online and mobile sports betting on January 28.
US.- WynnBET, the online sports betting and casino app from Wynn Resorts, has gone live in Louisiana. The launch comes after Louisiana opened legal online and mobile sports betting on January 28. Sports betting at land-based casinos in Louisiana launched in October.
The app will offer promos after registration and Wynn Rewards members will be able to connect their accounts. Following the arrival in Louisiana and the previous launch in New York, WynnBET is now live in nine states, including Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Tennessee and Virginia.
According to GeoComply, Louisiana’s mobile sports betting market registered more than 3.4m geolocation transactions in its opening weekend. The firm monitored Louisiana´s betting activity from its launch on January 28 until January 30.
During the first 36 hours of online sports betting, the number of unique players represented 3.6 per cent of the state’s adult population. That surpasses New York, where the number of unique players on its opening weekend represented 3.3 per cent of the adult population.
