US.- WynnBET, the online sports betting and casino app from Wynn Resorts, has become the seventh operator to launch its digital sportsbook in New York. Now, the app is available in eight states: Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Tennessee and Virginia.

New York sports betting sees record bets
By the end of January, the New York State Gaming Commission reported that players spent $1.18bn from launch on January 8 until the end of the second full week of regulated sports betting on January 23. The regulator reported that gross gaming revenue for the period reached $91.4m.
In the first week after New York launched sports betting, 1.2m accounts were created across the five sportsbooks in the state, with 878,000 unique players. New York is on track to record the highest handle of any state in a month.
