WynnBET partners with Delaware North to access West Virginia market

US.- WynnBET, the online sports betting and igaming app from Wynn Resorts, has announced a partnership with Delaware North to obtain market access in West Virginia for online sportsbook and casino operations.
Delaware North owns Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack in Wheeling and Mardi Gras Casino & Resort in Nitro, near Charleston. Both operate retail sportsbooks, and Delaware North operates Betly, its own website and mobile sports betting app.
WynnBET sportsbook is available in Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Tennessee and Virginia. The app currently has varying degrees of market access to 18 states covering approximately 44 per cent of the US population.
Online casino launched in West Virginia in July 2020, with DraftKings’ casino app going live. In the first four weeks of regulated online casino gaming, West Virginia saw players place $37.2m in online wagers.
In October, WynnBET named Ian Williams as its new chief operating officer. He reports to Wynn Interactive CEO Craig Billings.
