The BgC and its influence on Brazil’s gambling legalisation
At the Brazilian Gaming Congress key players of the industry will meet up with Brazilian legislators, who are determined to create a legal framework for gambling.
Brazil.- Key players from both local and international organisations connected to gaming will gather at the Second Brazilian Gaming Congress to decide the future of gambling in the South American nation. The BgC will be held on May 11-12 at the Windsor Plaza Hotel in Brasilia. The event is sponsored by BetConstruct, BMM Testlabs, Crane Payment Innovations (CPI) and Play’n Go.
After the spectacular success of the inaugural Brasilian Gaming Congress 2013, Clarion’s continued relationship with Brazilian stakeholders, including CAIXA, SEAE and state lotteries resulted in this brand new edition.
The BgC will feature the latest updates on the legislative, political and regulatory process, whilst it allow the industry to share best practice in gaming regulation and operation with the Brazilian legislators, who determined to create a legal framework for gambling and thus generate much needed revenue for Brazil.
President of the Senate’s Gaming Commission, Deputy Elmar Nascimiento, has confirmed his attendance, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Sports, Brazilian Texas Hold’em Confederation (CBTH,) Caesars Entertainment Corporation, PMU, International Center for Gaming Regulation, Française des Jeux, COAF, Brazilian Game Institute and Caixa Economica Federal.
