A diverse agenda covering key industry topics
The agenda of SBC Summit Lisbon 2025 is divided across several stages, each focusing on specific industry areas. This structure allows delegates to choose sessions relevant to their business objectives, while also providing opportunities to explore new markets and technologies.
The opening morning of the event placed a strong emphasis on regional markets, offering targeted spaces for attendees to build new connections. Between 10:00 and 12:00, the Global Markets Lounge hosted the LatAm & Brazil Brunch, which brought together professionals operating in or looking to enter the Latin American and Brazilian markets. Running in parallel at the Emerging Markets Lounge, the Africa Brunch created a similar platform for discussions around Africa’s rapidly developing betting and gaming landscape. Both brunches took place next to the newly introduced Global Markets Stage and Emerging Markets Stage, highlighting how the summit is giving greater visibility to high-growth regions.
The Payment Expert Summit opened its three-day programme in the Green Zone at Feira Internacional de Lisboa and MEO Arena, with today’s agenda dedicated to payment trends, infrastructure, frictionless transactions, and financial inclusion. Running alongside in the Purple Zone, the Affiliate Leaders Summit is focusing its first day on marketing technology (martech) while fostering collaboration between affiliates, operators, marketing agencies, and tech suppliers. Meanwhile, headline keynote speakers are taking the Super Stage at MEO Arena between 10:45 and 13:15, including marketing entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk and former Facebook executive Randi Zuckerberg. Later in the day, attention will shift to the new Global and Emerging Markets Stages for sessions on Latin America, Brazil, and Africa, while the Tech Academies at Sala Tejo will offer hands-on training on artificial intelligence and startup innovation.
Super stage attendees will also have the chance to explore the latest industry thought processes and strategies during a ‘Super CEO Panel’ featuring the likes of Daniel Taylor (CEO International, Flutter International), Neal Menashe (CEO, Super Group), Joanne Whittaker (CEO, Betfred), Jesper Svensson (CEO, Betsson Group) and Simon Lidzén (CEO & Co-founder, Fast Track).
On Wednesday, Day 2 of the Payment Expert Summit will take place, focusing on technology with an emphasis on innovation, platforms, AI, blockchain, and next-gen product integration. In addition, the Global Gaming Women Breakfast Meet-Up will take place, an informal networking session celebrating empowerment and collaboration.
Later, in Media HQ Auditorium II, there will be a slots masterclass. A three-session workshop, giving delegates a better understanding of the basic principles behind the operation of Games of Chance; both Land-based and Online. That includes understanding different player profiles (and their expectations), and based on this understanding, how to implement a Pricing & Product strategy and a Reward strategy.
Of course, there will be plenty of informal chats, parties and get-togethers to enjoy a pleasant time with industry peers, in an ideal setting for conversation, exchanging opinions and making new contacts.
In addition, on Thursday (September 18), the 2025 edition of SBC Summit Lisbon will come to a grand finale with the SBC Awards. Set in the stunning MEO Arena, the evening will honour the top performers across all areas of the betting and gaming ecosystem.
Now in its twelfth edition, the SBC Awards continues to set the standard for industry recognition, celebrating outstanding achievements across operators, affiliates, suppliers, and payment providers, as well as rising stars and industry pioneers.
