Major investment planned for the Osage Casino
Osage Nation of Natives announced a millionaire investment on its Tulsa casino expansion.
US.- Osage Nation revealed the fourth expansion for its Osage Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Operators will invest over US$500 million in the innovation plans, which will be divided in four phases. The first step of the process would require a US$150 million investment on the hotel and casino floor.
Osage Casino will feature a new six-story hotel with six suites, an entertainment and mall complex and a new 88,000 square feet casino space. The gaming centre will have great amount of slots, latest table games and an exclusive poker room. Furthermore, operators are planning to add a golf course and a sports bar and grill.
“The money that we create funds services for the tribe, so it’s very personal to me. I spend it as if it is my own money,” explained Byron Bighorse, chief operating officer of the casino. And he added, “We are in a highly competitive market, so we need to offer a product that is comparable to our competition, that way we get visits. We all share the same people; it is a local’s market.”
