The cloud hosting provider continues its growth in the US.

US.- Cloud hosting provider Internet Vikings has launched hosting services for igaming operations in Michigan. The state is the latest US jurisdiction that Internet Vikings has entered, following West Virginia.

In September, it launched in Colorado, while it has partnered with PlayStar Casino in New Jersey and in Pennsylvania. It’s also set up in Ontario, Canada. The state of Michigan is one of the largest US igaming markets. It generated $121.8m in gross igaming revenue for 2021.

Internet Vikings founder and CCO Rickard Vikström said: “We are thrilled to have secured our positions in yet another US territory. We consider the establishment of our operations in Michigan being a major win.”

Internet Vikings head of US expansion, Elena Kvakova, added: “In addition to high revenues, Michigan is one of just six states in America which specifically allow online casinos.

“Recognising the state as the next important strategic step in our US expansion, after studying the relevant legislation and obtaining the required documentation since April, we worked as a team to establish our next US base.

“We are extremely proud to be able to support our clients in multiple locations across the US and globally. I can confirm that we will continue expanding and growing both territorially and as a company.”
