Dream Las Vegas to move ahead after latest approvals

Shopoff Realty Investments and Contour have received the entitlements to progress with the resort and casino development.

US.- Shopoff Realty Investments and Contour have received the necessary entitlements to move ahead with the Dream Las Vegas Resort and Casino development. The companies can now advance towards construction of the resort. They plan to finish construction in the third quarter of 2024.

McCarthy Construction will manage the design and construction, excavation due to start in the second quarter of 2022.

Shopoff president and CEO William Shopoff said: “We are pleased to have been able to secure entitlements for Dream Las Vegas that are mutually beneficial to Clark County as well as our partnership. We believe that this project will be a stellar example for future development on the south end of the Strip.”

David Daneshforooz, Contour CEO added: “As a Las Vegas native, born and raised, I know first-hand the benefits Dream will bring to the Strip.

“Dream Hotel Group will bring the same magic to Las Vegas as they have to their other locations – a curated entertainment destination in a well-designed intimate environment for both locals and visitors to enjoy.

Branded and managed by Dream Hotel Group, the venue will be situated on a 5.25-acre plot at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. With 527 rooms, the $500m property will be much smaller than other resorts on Las Vegas Boulevard. The idea is to offer a boutique-style experience in an ultra-competitive market dominated by massive resorts.

The amenities will include gaming, dining and nightlife venues, a pool deck, 12,000 square feet of event space, a full-service spa, and a fitness centre.
