South Korea: Incheon gaming zone delayed due to Covid-19
The future of three out of four gaming developments in Incheon is in doubt.
South Korea.- The idea of creating an exclusive gaming and casino zone in Incheon has not come to fruition.
Out of four intended projects under development, the future of at least three is in doubt. Little information has emerged of late about the fate of the World Hansang Dream Island and Solaire Marina IR Project.
As for the Midan City complex, US-based Caesars Entertainment has decided to back out from the development to focus on the US market.
Only US tribal operator Mohegan has provided positive communication that it remains confident that it will have the funds to resume construction of its Mohegan Inspire project.
The company has restructured the phased construction plan and pushed the launch date back to 2023.
Paradise City, meanwhile, has strugggled to bring in customers after several closures due to Covid-19 pandemic.
